This semester, I started Korean 1, where I’ve built a basic foundation in reading, writing, listening and speaking. I believe that after completing this course, I will be able to handle basic conversations in real-life situations, which will help me communicate better when I travel to Korea.
To encourage self-study, I have created my own study plan to continue improving my Korean language skills. I plan to study every week for about 40–45 minutes, preferably on Friday around 4-5pm, to complete all the exercises and review the PowerPoint slides and notes again provided by the lecturer. If I have free time, I’ll also watch some Korean movies to make myself more comfortable with the language. I hope to achieve the module’s learning outcomes and good progress in my Korean by the end of this semester.
