Task 1 - Exercise 2 Illustrated Type
Our task is to design and create an aesthetically pleasing illustrated typography by using words generated from the Pictionary Generator: https://randomwordgenerator.com/pictionary.php

Fig 1.7 My words generated from Pictionary

My Design:
The two words I drew from Pictionary are 'Elephant' and 'Bells', so for my illustrated type task, I will focus on the word 'Elephant' and create a design in which the 'E' letter resembles an elephant head. Additionally, I will include a bell hanging from the elephant's neck. To enhance the visual impact, I use a forest put at the background, which will complement the theme of the design.

REFLECTION

Project 1 provided a great introduction to using the pen tool in Adobe Illustrator. I found the experience both enlightening and enjoyable. The project gave me a solid foundation for tracing shapes with the pen tool, which I later applied to create my own unique character. Although I initially struggled to find inspiration for my character design, I invested time and effort into research, which helped me refine my ideas. In Exercise 2, I also enjoyed learning how to create 3D text. Overall, I appreciate the opportunity to learn and use Adobe Illustrator through this project. It has deepened my understanding of the software's capabilities and given me more confidence in my ability to create detailed and visually engaging artwork.
