Visual Analysis

Observation:
The design work is in a 1:1 format, the creator with the main visual focus at the center. It depicts a building, but it is not just any building. Inside, there are more detailed visual effects. The main color tones used are pink, yellow, orange, and blue, with a touch of red for vibrancy and to categorize partitions. Green is used to embellish plants, creating a harmonious look. Additionally, grey is used for the rocket in the sky. Overall, it's a colorful artwork. On the left hand side of the wall, you can vaguely see the words "YES WE DID".

Analysis:
This design is symmetrically balanced between the building and the rocket in the artwork. Inside the room, there is up floor and down floor aligned. The contrast between the size of the rocket , building, space center room and the little plant creates dramatic results and visual interest. The unity of the design, colors, shapes, or materials pulls the artwork together. These unity elements are balanced and give a sense of oneness. In the different rooms, different females are depicted doing various jobs and roles, creating unity and harmonyThe arrangement of building and different room creates a sense of order and hierarchy. Initially, our focus will be on the center, the "meeting room," followed by the left hand side red wall and its information, and then the rocket, space center room, and other smaller rooms.

Interpretation:
This artwork was designed for the run up to the 2021 Generation Equality Forum, a significant event for gender equality convened by UN Women and co-hosted by the governments of Mexico and France in partnership with civil society and youth. The entire design uses an illustrative style to promote gender equality.

The entire design mainly uses the colors orange or yellow. This vibrant hue symbolizes ambition, sociability, and sunshine. Women can be as ambitious as men, have their own businesses, be as sociable as men, and shine like sunshine. Women can do what men do, both in the house (as mothers and wives) and outside the house (having their own jobs). The vibrant red color symbolizes women's power. Don't underestimate a woman's power, women can play different roles and excel in them. The green color of the plant symbolizes nature, money, health or luck. Women can earn money like men, but before focusing on making more money, they need a healthy body to do so. Additionally, luck plays a role in meeting noble people along the path to financial success. All these things occur in nature. The pink color symbolizes warmth, hope, and love. As a woman who has a job, when go back home to her role as a mother and wife, she continues to provide warmth to her family. She always remains the person who gives warmth, hope, and love to those close to her.

And the last color blue, is the color of the ocean and sky, as we all know. But in this piece of artwork, the author want to present women as having infinite possibilities, as vast as the sky and ocean. Just like the rocket, humans don't know one day they might be able to journey into the universe. Do not underestimate the power of women and what they can achieve. So, you see a breakthrough depicted at the bottom, serving as a contemplative space for the viewers.
